and followed up as he promised to. His genuine concern and

"Our heat went out on our downstairs central gas heat and
AC unit on Thursday, January 8, 2009. We called Kimbro Air
based on the good experience we had on an earlier service
visit several years ago. Service technician Robert Spivey
came out and found a cracked heat exchanger and turned off
the unit and arranged for Don Vogt to come out same day for
a quote to replace the unit and evaluate alternatives for
replacing the 20 year old upstairs heat pump. The upstairs
unit used a hot water loop attached to one of our water
heaters as emergency heat. Access to the attic was limited
to an 18 inch square access hole.
Don Vogt arrived Thursday afternoon and together we decided
to replace both 6 SEER units with new dial fuel units,
eliminating the need for the hot water loop emergency heat
upstairs. In addition, we decided to increase the size of
the upstairs AC unit by a half ton as the old unit had
trouble cooling the upstairs on a hot day. We were happy to
learn that you would install a pull-down stairs for access
to the attic.
The next Friday morning. Friday, Troy Page arrived with
Joseph Martin and Michael Daniel. By nightfall the
downstairs unit was installed and running and everything
was cleaned up. In addition, the upstairs vent pipe was cut
and flashed through the roof. In addition, they had
installed pull-down stairs for attic access while
protecting the carpet with adhesive-backed clear plastic,
and paper booties on their shoes.
Monday morning Troy Page arrived with Tommy Hamilton and
Kevin Walker and put down the adhesive-backed clear plastic
to protect the carpet. By nightfall they had installed the
upstairs unit and it was working. again, they cleaned up
everything.
Tuesday morning Tommy Hamilton and Kevin Walker came back
and finished several loose ends, including painting the gas
pipe on the outside of the house to make it less visible
and replacing the vent in the closet where the pull-down
stairs is located.
No corners were cut in the installation. For example, the
emergency heat hot water loop could have been capped in the
attic, but was instead cut and capped close to the water
heater to minimize the chance of a leak in the future.
Everyone was knowledgeable, courteous, and conscientious in
completing this complex job in a timely manner. I can't
thank Kimbro Air enough for the outstanding way you made
this unexpected failure a relatively painless process. In
addition, the improved efficiency, comfort, piece of mind,
and attic access will provide years of benefit for me and
my wife Janice. Our thanks anda "well done" to Kimbro Air!

"Business owners today expect to hear from dissatisfied
clients, and I have had one or two occasions when I felt
the need to address issues of poor service or
unsatisfactory products.
But the purpose of this letter is to tell you how very
pleased my husband and I have been in our dealings with
your business and with your
personnel.
Early this April. I'm sure you recall, this area
experienced some sudden and extremely cold weather after
what had been an unusually warm and pleasant March. Our
heater failed at the beginning of that cold week. We had
dealt with another HVAC service, so I called them and left
a message that we had no heat. That phone call was not
returned, nor was the one the following day. After two
chilly days and looking at a forecast for a freeze on the
third night, I called Kimbro Air. Within 45 minutes your
service technician was here, and within 5 minutes of his
arrival, we had heat.
On Tuesday of this week, we were once again unable to get
the heater to operate. When I called your office, the woman
who answered the phone (Beverly I think) asked if we could
schedule the service call for the first thing Wednesday
morning. When I asked her if there was any chance of
getting someone to our home on Tuesday night, she went out
of her way to accommodate my request, and we again had heat
within 90 minutes.
When Chad informed us of the serious problems within the
unit, there was absolutely no thought that we would have
anyone but Kimbro Air install the new unit. Again your
staff went out of their way to arrange both the
installation and financing for the very next day.
My husband and I have both worked in a variety of business
atmospheres, and we know that the "customer service" ethic
of employees is built and encouraged from the top down. We
wanted you to know how much we appreciate the pleasant,
polite and professional way in which all of the Kimbro Air
employees treated us. All of your people were a pleasure to
deal with - from the office staff and supervisors to the
service people and installers - without exception. There is
no question that we will continue dealing with your company
for any future needs, and there is no question that we will
recommend you highly without reservation to anyone asking
us for the name of a good heating service."
